in honor of opening ceremony night! 7:30! get ready! i've already cried twice from Touching Stories about the athletes and it hasn't even started yet! did you know the guy carrying the flag for the US tonight is a lost boy of sudan? he watched his first olympics in a dirt floor refugee shelter and is now carrying the US flag? i may even cry right now.

these are totally not jamz but i'm pretty sure cup of life is played at every sporting event ever. and sporty spice is, you know, sporty.

Food festival honoring the Hamburger! A variety of entertainment on 3 stage areas, crafters, artists, and children's activities. Numerous contests include resident cook-off, burger eating, mooing, wooden cow decorating contest, and restaurant competitions. Free admission! Downtown Hamburg, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
