this american life had another frightening show about the economy last week explaining what the heck is going on, similar to the giant pool of money episode. both are interesting (and scary) and helped me understand why my bank failed and all the rest of it.
and for some sunnier times, check out the show a little bit of knowledge. the prologue and act 1 are so good that i've retold them as if these people are my friends and i've heard these accounts straight from them. and i've caught other people doing the same!
